1883-1942

Ansis Cīrulis

Ansis Cīrulis was one the first Eastern European designers — greatly contributed to the shaping of Latvia’s identity.

His heritage is characterized by letters with asymmetric widths, sliced cuts and various intrinsic features. 

 

 

1917

The 2nd Regiment of the Latvian Riflemen

“Bez Cīņas Nav Uzvaras” was the slogan made for the 3rd Company of the 2nd Regiment of the Latvian Riflemen as the battle of Latvia’s freedom peaked in the Christmas battles of 1917.

The bravery of these men led to the Latvian independence in 1918.

 

 

2014

Edgars Zvirgzdiņš

Edgars Zvirgzdiņš is a Latvian Design Director at Associates, Partners et Sons. The 2014 marks the collaboration project to revive the design heritage of "Bez Cīņas Nav Uzvaras" slogan. 

 

 

2017

100 Years Anniversary



The slogan revived on a contemporary design T-shirts made of 100% Organic Cotton for a sustainable future.
